Your privacy is very important to us. We designed our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions to make important disclosures about how you can use ModList to share with others and how we collect and can use your content and information. This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their "Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. When you publish content or information using a public setting (Public Mod or Share Cost), it means that you are allowing everyone, including people off of ModList via automodlist.com, to access and use that information, and in some cases to associate it with you (i.e., your name and profile picture) including images you uploaded of vehicles or mods. It is recommendd that you limit personal information contained in images such as license plates. Your vehicle ModList page is availble on the Internet (automodlist.com) to anyone with the specific ModList vehicle page link. If you do not share mods, your vehicle page may still be available displaing your vehicle image. Vehicle and Mod images may be accessible online with public permissions, even when mods are marked as not public, and automodlist.com will not link to them or share them, and they are consumed and displayed with approprate Auto ModList sign-on credentials by the user that uploaded the images.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website(s) or app?

When registering on our site or app, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number or other details to help you with your experience.

Know that we never ask for credit card numbers, social security numbers, or driver license numbers or related sensitive personally identifiable information. We will never contact you by email or phone to ask for this information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding information we have asked for, please contact Auto ModList support. Do no provide any of this or related personal information to Auto ModList because we have not asked for it. Do not enter any of this personally identifiable information into text entry fields within the Auto ModList app.

Under the ModList Terms of Agreement, children under the age of 13 years old should not us the ModList app or website.

Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
